EIC Crypto-Inside

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 946280.

The EU-funded Crypto-Inside project is making significant advances in device security. It is combining quantum technologies with modern cryptography to provide a unified end-to-end security for the Internet of things (IoT). Specifically, it is developing a unique key provisioning architecture, underpinned by a true physically unclonable function. It exploits the phenomenon of quantum tunnelling to generate unforgeable cryptographic keys to secure data communications.
